Information for family and friends

It is important for family members to be involved in the rehabilitation process, and ReNew staff will work with you to find the best approach to helping your loved one.

Each person we support will have a rehabilitation routine designed specifically for them by the ReNew clinicians. The timing of certain activities may affect what times you can visit each day. It’s best to talk to the staff at ReNew about an appropriate time to visit.

Remember that rest is very important to people with a brain injury, and socialising can be very tiring. At some times, visits may be limited to reduce fatigue.

Generally the mornings are busy with showering and preparing for the day. At this time, privacy is important. Evenings after 7pm are generally a quiet time when the people we support rest.

It is important for family members to be involved in the rehabilitation process, and ReNew staff will work with you to find the best approach to helping your loved one.

If you are travelling from interstate or overseas and require accommodation close to ReNew, ask our staff for advice.
